SMS / Text Messaging Consent & Terms

1. Program Description

Rideway Auto Group, Inc. ("Rideway", "we", "us") offers an SMS messaging program to assist customers with vehicle inquiries, appointment scheduling, service reminders, financing updates, and general dealership communications. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Rideway Auto Group at the mobile number you provided.

2. How Consent Is Collected

We obtain your express written consent to send SMS messages through one or more of the following methods:

  • Website Lead Forms: When you submit a vehicle inquiry, schedule a test drive, or request a quote on our website, you are presented with a clear SMS consent checkbox that reads: "I consent to receive SMS/text messages from Rideway Auto Group regarding my inquiry, appointments, and promotions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time."
  • Credit Application: During the online finance application process, customers provide their phone number and consent to SMS communications as part of the application agreement.
  • In-Person: When visiting our dealership, customers may provide their phone number and opt in to text communications on a physical or digital form.
  • Keyword Opt-In: Customers may text START to our business number to opt in to receiving messages.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to opt in to SMS to buy a vehicle or receive service from Rideway Auto Group.

3. Message Types & Frequency

Messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Vehicle availability and pricing updates
  • Financing and credit application status updates
  • Service department reminders
  • Follow-up communications related to your inquiry

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 10 messages per month depending on your interactions with our team. Message and data rates may apply.

4. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and will no longer receive texts from Rideway Auto Group unless you opt in again.

6. Privacy & Data Use

Your phone number and messaging data are handled in accordance with our privacy practices. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or messaging opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely for the purposes described in this program.

7. Carriers & Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Compatible carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and other major US carriers. Service may not be available on all carriers.
